Tracking & consumption
- Why doesn't Fuelio show my fuel consumption? How many fill-ups do I need?Fuelio needs at least two full-tank fill-ups to calculate fuel consumption (MPG or l/100 km). Here is why it uses the full-tank method.
- Can I use Fuelio with bi-fuel (LPG, CNG) or flex-fuel vehicles?Set your vehicle as bi-fuel (e.g. gasoline + LPG/CNG) or flex-fuel in Fuelio to track each tank and fuel type separately.
- Can I add my own cost categories?Yes. Create as many custom expense categories as you need in Fuelio's Cost Log category editor.
- How does Fuelio calculate cost per mile (or kilometer) in the fuel log?Fuelio's cost per mile in the fuel log uses the price of the fuel you actually burned, bought at the previous fill-up. Worked example included.
Data, backups & privacy
- How do I back up, restore or import my data?Back up Fuelio to Google Drive, Dropbox or a ZIP file on Android, or with iCloud on iPhone. Restore your data, import a CSV or convert files from other apps.
- Is there a Fuelio web version or online app?Fuelio has no web version, but the iPhone app also runs on a Mac. It is a native app with no account, and your data can be exported as a CSV file.
- Is Fuelio free?Fuelio is free to download and use, and the free version is fully usable, with no ads and no account. Backup, export and import are free too. Extra Premium features are optional.
Gas prices & stations
- Why don't I see gas prices in my area?Fuelio combines official gas price data with crowdsourced prices. Coverage depends on the data sources and the number of active users in your area.
- A gas station is missing. Can I add it myself?Yes. Add a missing gas station in Fuelio, or send us its name and location. New stations are sent to us for moderation.
